Paintball Nottingham

"Inside the world of paintball - Not just Nottingham"

Great Prices for Paintballers!

There has never been a better time to go paintballing! Prices are a lot lower than they were 10 years ago....There's not so many paintball sites as nowadays, safety standards at the big named sites are better than ever...Ticket Agents have really effected the market. So Where's the hot paintball venues to visit? What are we getting for a our money? Why is it so good and When will it all end?

Site Owners Struggling to Reinvest!

As one major paintball group director puts it:"Unfortunately people today want discount on everything and if the price war continues then paintball sites will not be able to reinvest in new equipment and bigger better game zones....". Yes there's a price war amongst paintball fields in Britain. Who is slashing prices? What is the result? Who benefits? Where will it end?

Javea Villa

Javea Villa

On a particularly cold day, after finding myself crank up the central heating yet again, and after repeated recommendations from friends, we decided to see for ourselves why Javea in the Northern territory of Costa Blanca is lovingly depicted as the “Jewel of the Costas” and why The World Health Organisation report it to be one of the worlds healthiest places to be.

Searching the web for accommodation in Javea wasn’t easy, particularly as our exacting standards meant that we really needed a Private property.

We scanned for Villa rentals in the Javea area where we discovered some excellent villa Javea websites.

Javea, which was once a small fishing village and is now made up of three areas, Javea old town (El Pueblo), Javea port (Aduanas del Mar) and the Arenal beach area which has grown in popularity and has something for everyone. Rentin-Javea.com offered plenty to choose from in all locations including many “off the beaten track” beauty spots.

Our choice was situated in the shadows of the impressive Montgo Mountain, an outstanding Javea villas accommodating all aspects of our wish list. The private and peaceful with facilities second to none, car hire was recommended, enabling us to alternate the peace and tranquillity of villa life with the various and diverse attractions Javea had to offer us, including, luckily enough for the men in our party a choice of over half a dozen Golf Courses

Suffice to say we had one of the most amazing adventures and whatever you are looking for in a holiday you will be sure to find it in Javea  – Truly a Jewel of the Costa Blanca.

Mijas – A day in the life!!

On December 28, 2009 in Self Catering Holidays

So its Monday Morning following a particularly heavy weekend, Boss says “can I have a word”!!! My response? Sure give me 5.

My inner emotion is Oh no I’m going to have to concentrate way beyond my capabilities today.

He tells me that despite the obvious recession we have over achieved on budget and the funds there for a “jolly” are now available to spend.

He spent the summer, whilst we achieved budget, in Spain and would really like to take the top10 achievers to Mijas for the week. He thinks no hotels lets get personal and luxurious. Easy for him to say.

Now this is where I have an obvious problem, I thought Mijas was a bathing product not an actual place. Now I have the task of organising “that week”.

27 espressos later and some serious web searching for mijas apartments, Mijas villas and mijas accommodation I find rentin-mijas.com  I’m In luck !!

In the spirit of sharing I think I should tell you a little about the NON bathing product, it is one of the most famous pueblos blancos (white villages) and is set amidst pine forests and lush vegetation. A municipality having 3 areas of population, one of these is a classic whitewashed Andalusian village of Moorish origin that contains the monuments and the administrative centre.

Mijas has outstanding views over Fuengirola and the Mediterranean Sea. The area has over the years become a favourite with artists and the narrow streets are filled with ceramics and craft shops and as well as cafes, bars and restaurants.

So back to my challenge, Mijas apartments found, car hire sorted and all done with a severe headache. No challenge required and I get promoted   RESULT thanks to rentinmijas.com. Not sure if they can help with next year’s budget but I will be asking.
